Special Service Systems, Inc. was founded in 1973. In 1974, Special Service Systems, Inc. designed a process by which it was able to control and track the movement of portable assets, such as credit card imprinters, and the remanufacture of same that were installed in petroleum retail stations worldwide. In the early to mid eighties, Special Service Systems, Inc. expanded it's services to include electronic Point Of Sale (POS) terminals and expanded it's market to the financial industry (bank card acquirers). In the mid nineties, Special Service Systems, Inc. began development of it's own product, the PetroSmart ® terminal. Special Service Systems, Inc. draws on its longevity and experience in the plastic card industry. It has a strong customer base and a management team with technical knowledge and industry maturity. |
